Hostels and Dining Halls


Hostels

The Bulawayo Polytechnic has facilities to accommodate and cater for almost 500 students on campus. There are 11 hostels, of which 4 are reserved for female students and the remainder are for male students.


HB1

This hostel accommodates 42 male students.

HB2

This hostel accommodates 42 female students.

HB3

This hostel accommodates 42 male students.

HB4

This hostel accommodates 42 female students.

HB5

This hostel accommodates 42 male students.

This hostel accommodates 42 male students.

HB9

This hostel accommodates 42 female students.

HB11

This hostel accommodates 42 female students.

Johnson House

This hostel accommodates 47 male students.

Douglas Gee

This hostel accommodates 52 male students.

Visser

This hostel accommodates 53 male students.


Dinning halls

The Bulawayo Polytechnic has two dining halls. The Johnson House Dining Hall is the main dining hall for students staying in the student hostels. A smaller canteen is provided for staff and non-resident students. Staff at the dining halls undergo regular medical checks to maintain the highest standards of hygiene.
